Farhad
Sheibani was born in the spring of 1941 in Ourumyeh, Iran. He graduated
in 1971 from the faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cinematography and
since then he has been working at Institute for the Intellectual
Development of Children & Young Adults. The outcome of his acquaintance
with the cinema were two short films called "The Starling of the
Grandmother" and "Another City". He has held three photo exhibitions
until now and "The Charming Beauty of the Beloved" is a selected
collection of these exhibitions.

Artists Statement
The title of a collection of the photos, which I have created
not with the intention of my motive towards photography, but
because of my interest to the painting art.
I have the loan of the small mirror of the camera so as to
reflect some of the charming beauties of the Beloved. My motive
of using the camera is the same as of a painter's when he
holds the paint brush in his hand and the canvas and the paints
before him. The preparations are similar; arranging a subject
upon a proper background; and setting it in a good position
of light angle; composition and….
And suddenly it occurs to me that yet I haven't learned the
art of painting and regret so much. Therefore, I seek help
of the camera and hum to myself: Viewing the desert, you appear
before my eyes; Viewing the sea, you appear before my eyes;
Where so ever I look at; mountains plains….. and meadows;
There are tokens of your charming beauty.
