Nana Aramyan is the artist who works both in the classical and digital media alike. Provocative, full of Erotic allusions, her art of recent years is highly saturated by Surreal attitude mixed with fascination by Gothic spirit and visualizes Dark & Mysterious Dreams. Nanas solo show titled Black Violet Talks (March, 2011, Yerevan, Armenia) could be marked as a confirmation of a new period in her art.
Starting from her student years (early 90s), she has been actively participating in various contemporary art exhibitions both locally and internationally. The participation in the Venice 49th Biennale is as one of her prominent artistic achievements. To recall prominent highlights of her recent artistic life, one must mention the exhibition Spazi Aperti (November2010, Florence, Italy). Additionally, since 2001 Nana has been teaching in the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, at the Computer Graphics and design department. At the moment she lives and works in Yerevan, Armenia.
